Settings or presets go back to old values after a restart

Symptom

You change triggers or settings, close the app, and after the next start the old values are back.

Cause

Versions before autumn 2026 kept the cloud-sync marker in the install folder, so every launch looked like a fresh install and pulled the cloud copy over your local changes.

Fix

1. Update TikControl to the latest version.
2. Make your changes again and keep the app open for a minute so the cloud copy is written.
3. Restart the app once to confirm they stay.
