Settings or presets go back to old values after a restart

An old version restored the cloud copy over your local settings on every launch. Update, then save once so the cloud copy is fresh.

Symptom

You change triggers or settings, close the app, and after the next start the old values are back.

Cause

Versions before autumn 2026 kept the cloud-sync marker in the install folder, so every launch looked like a fresh install and pulled the cloud copy over your local changes.

Fix

Update TikControl to the latest version.
Make your changes again and keep the app open for a minute so the cloud copy is written.
Restart the app once to confirm they stay.
