Refund Policy

TikControl subscriptions are billed and managed by Lemon Squeezy, our Merchant of Record. This policy explains your cancellation and refund rights.

1. Cancellation

You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account dashboard or by contacting us at support@tikcontrol.io.

When you cancel:

  • Your Pro or Ultra access continues until the end of your current billing period
  • You will not be charged again after that date
  • Your account automatically reverts to the Free tier
  • No partial-month refunds are issued for the remaining days in your billing period

2. Statutory Cooling-Off Period

Under the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, consumers ordinarily have a 14-day right to cancel a digital service from the date of first purchase.

However, by subscribing and immediately accessing Pro or Ultra features, you expressly consent to the immediate supply of digital content and acknowledge that this waives your statutory 14-day cancellation right, as permitted under Regulation 36(1).

If you have not yet accessed any paid features, you may request a full refund within 14 days of your first charge. Contact us at support@tikcontrol.io with the subject line "Cooling-off cancellation".

3. Billing Errors

If you believe you have been charged incorrectly — for example, charged after cancelling, charged the wrong amount, or charged twice — contact us within 48 hours of the charge appearing:

Please include your account email address and a brief description of the issue. We will investigate and, if an error is confirmed, issue a full refund promptly.

4. Exceptional Circumstances

Outside of statutory rights and billing errors, we handle refund requests on a case-by-case basis. We are a small independent team and we want to be fair.

We may issue a refund at our discretion if, for example:

  • A major technical issue on our side prevented you from using the service for an extended period
  • You were charged during a period where the service was materially degraded through no fault of your own

We do not issue refunds for:

  • Forgetting to cancel before a renewal date
  • TikTok platform changes that affect connectivity (outside our control)
  • Game bans resulting from use of game modification features (see our Terms of Service §7)
  • Dissatisfaction with features that were accurately described before purchase

5. How to Request a Refund

Please include:

  • The email address registered to your TikControl account
  • The date of the charge you are disputing
  • A brief description of your reason for the refund request

We aim to respond to all refund requests within 1–2 business days. Approved refunds are processed by Lemon Squeezy and typically appear within 5–10 business days depending on your bank.
