TikControl says "not live" even though you are live

The connection needs your exact username and a public LIVE that has already started.

Symptom

Pressing Connect ends with "not live", "user not found" or keeps reconnecting.

Fix

  1. Type your TikTok username exactly as it appears in your profile URL, without the @ and without spaces.
  2. Start the LIVE on TikTok first, wait until viewers can see it, then press Connect.
  3. If the LIVE is set to followers-only, region-locked or age-restricted, the connection can fail. Try a public LIVE.
  4. Use Sign in with TikTok in the app's account area so the connection uses your own session.

Open Get Help and send diagnostics: the log shows the exact answer TikTok gave.
